This view displays details for each process in the system. You can use the process filter to view only the processes you are interested in.
|•||Image Name: name of the executable file.|
|•||ID: OS-generated process identification number (PID).|
|•||CPU %: Percentage of current CPU usage by this process.|
|•||Virtual Size (Reserve + Commit): Amount of virtual memory allocated by this process, in 1024-byte (1k) allotments.|
|•||Number of Threads:Number of execution threads started by the process.|
|•||Main Window: caption of the application's main window.|
|•||Base Address: load address of the executable file.|
|•||CPU Time: Cumulative CPU time charged against all the threads of the process. Windows CE does not track CPU time for processes so this counter adds the times of all active threads for a process. Because of this, it is possible to see CPU time decrease because of thread termination. For example, if the process has 3 threads with CPU times of 1 second, 3 seconds, and 5 seconds then the CPU Time displayed will be 9 seconds. If the thread that used 5 seconds of time terminates then, on the next refresh of data, Entrek ProcMan will show the total CPU Time of the remaining threads (which is 4 seconds in this example).|
|•||Access Key: the kernel's internal thread permissions bitmask for the thread.|
|•||Default Heap ID:OS-generated heap identification number for the process's default heap.|
You can view additional information about each process by selecting a process in the Details list. Once selected, the additional information appears in the following tabs. Changing the process selection will change the additional information so that information for the newly selected process is displayed.
