This view displays information about all threads in the system.  You can use the process filter to select only threads from the processes you are interested in.

 

Threads

 

Columns

 

ID: OS-generated thread identification number.
Owner Process Name: name of the process that created the thread.
Owner PID: identifier of the process that created the thread.
State: the thread's scheduler state.
Priority: the priority of the thread.
AccessKey: the kernel's internal thread permissions bitmask for the thread.
Quantum: the quantum of the thread, in milliseconds.
CPU %: percentage of current CPU usage by this thread.
CPU Time: the amount of CPU time that this thread has used.
Stack Base Address: the virtual base address of the thread's stack.
Stack Virtual Size: the amount of virtual memory allocated for the thread's stack.
Stack Virtual Commit: the amount of virtual memory committed for the thread's stack.
Creation Time: the time the thread was created.

 

NOTE: Stack information for kernel processes is not available in Windows CE 6.0 and higher.

 

Commands

 

Thread terminate toolbar button Terminate: Invokes TerminateThread API for the selected thread.
Thread suspend toolbar button SuspendThread: Invokes SuspendThread API for the selected thread.
Thread resume toolbar button ResumeThread: Invokes ResumeThread API for the selected thread.  0 is passed for the dwExitCode parameter.
Thread properties toolbar button Properties: opens a dialog that allows you to set the selected thread's priority and quantum.
